Cult of PiN Leaderboards Guide
How Monthly and All-Time boards work after the launch hotfixes.
Cult of PiN tracks competition on Monthly and All-Time boards per table. This guide explains when scores submit, how post-launch score ceilings changed the race, and which skills actually move a rank.
Unlocking the race
Clear Act VI on a table before Endless/leaderboard chasing becomes the main loop. Campaign literacy still matters — see Act VI & Endless and table orientation on Tables Overview.
Monthly vs All-Time
Monthly boards reset on a calendar cadence and reward players who adapt to the current hotfix meta. All-Time boards keep career peaks. A patch that nerfs Chancellor or Endless Multiball Blocker immunity can reshuffle Monthly faster than All-Time.
Score ceilings after Hotfix #1
Launch week raised the in-game maximum score from roughly 2.4 billion to 9.2 quintillion and updated leaderboard storage to match. Older capped scores were corrected where possible. If you are grinding Endless toward Act XXX, assume the board can accept absurd totals — the limiter is your build and stability, not a 2.4B wall.
Abandon Run still submits
Hotfix #2’s Abandon Run ends the run immediately while preserving and submitting the final score. Use it when a run is dead but the score is still a personal best — do not confuse it with Abandon Ball, which only clears a stuck ball.
What high ranks actually optimise
- Boss speed for Bonus Table access and spare conservation — How to Beat Bosses.
- Ritual cadence that still performs after Endless Multiball Blocker changes — Missions & Rituals.
- Glyph roles that scale into late Acts without melting the frame rate; Hotfix #6 specifically improved Sparks + Multiball performance.
- Ball identity that matches the table’s bounce personality — Ball Tier List.
Soft-locks and voided runs
A soft-lock used to erase ladder attempts. Bind Abandon Ball before serious climbs. Bonus skips that cost no spare let you discard awkward bonus layouts without torching economy.
Fair-play notes
This is a fan wiki — we do not document exploits. Hotfix #4 closed a Shadowed Glyph slot exploit; assume similar holes close quickly. Chase readable builds you can repeat under pressure.
Practice ladder
- Week 1: consistent Act VI clears on Easy/Medium.
- Week 2: one table Monthly push with a fixed ball.
- Week 3: All-Time attempt only after boss telegraphs feel automatic.
Track choices with the Build Planner so ladder runs are experiments, not vibes.

Climbing etiquette with yourself
One ball, one table, one week. Change one variable per attempt. Screenshot shops you loved. If a hotfix lands mid-climb, decide whether to reset Monthly expectations. Soft-locks should cost a spare via Abandon Ball, not a steam forum essay.
Page takeaway
One ball, one table, one week. Abandon Run banks PBs; Abandon Ball saves soft-locks. Monthly tracks hotfix meta; All-Time tracks peaks after the quintillion ceiling raise.
Climbing after the ceiling lift
One ball, one table, one week. Change one variable per attempt. Monthly tracks hotfix meta; All-Time tracks peaks after the quintillion ceiling. Abandon Run banks a dead-run PB. Abandon Ball saves seams without voiding the hour. If a patch lands mid-climb, decide whether Monthly expectations reset. Soft-locks should cost a spare, not a forum essay.
Unlock the race by clearing Act VI on that table. Monthly resets reward hotfix-aware rebuilds. All-Time keeps career peaks after the 9.2 quintillion storage fix. Chancellor nerfs, Ball Save narrowing, and Endless blocker honesty all reshuffle Monthly faster than All-Time. Bind Abandon Ball. Use Abandon Run to submit. Do not document exploits — Hotfix #4 already closed a Shadowed Glyph slot hole.
Fair climb notes
No exploit mirrors on this wiki. Shadowed Glyph extra slots were patched. Play readable builds you can repeat. Screenshot shops you loved. If Hotfix #6 Easy-without-Curses made your learning faster, that does not make max difficulty a Monthly requirement. Related: Act VI & Endless.
